Meeting Location: Entrance on 1st Ave. & 50th St.
Description: Volunteer with the Stewardship Team and the Billion Oyster Project to protect wetland areas in Bush Terminal Park! Volunteers will help us remove debris in order to help restore the wetland and create a healthier ecosystem, as well as get the chance to meet the animals that live in its water. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Face masks may be worn at your discretion. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. To register a group of 10 or more, please email stewardship@parks.nyc.gov. This event has been funded in part by NYC Service.
